Journey through Rajasthan and immerse yourself in the traditional arts and crafts of this region. This fully guided tour will also take you to Rajasthan's vibrant cities, where history whispers from every corner.
You will get to explore Jaipur's majestic palaces, Jodhpur's imposing fort, and delight in the desert charm of Jaisalmer as well as venturing to Agra, where the ethereal Taj Mahal awaits, a timeless symbol of love and beauty.
We will take it a bit slower on this tour to allow you to have an immersive experience of Indian and Rajasthani arts and crafts, where every brushstroke and stitch unveils centuries of tradition and culture. From vibrant textiles to intricate folk painting, discover the soul of India's artisanal heritage.
Most days of the tour we will visit traditional artisans to watch them work and learn about their craft. You will also enjoy workshop visits including zardosi gold embroidery, inlayed stone work, pottery, weaving, embroidery, cut applique textile workand more.
It's not all about observing though. You will get involved and learn some new crafty skills with multiple hands on workshops (all running for approximately 2-3 hours each). No prior experience is required as you will be guided step-by-step to create something amazing!

Who is this tour suitable for? This tour is specifically designed for lovers of arts and craft, who also want to experience the magic of Rajasthan, India. No experience is necessary as you will be guided by experts on all the workshops.
It is also perfect for first-time explorers of India, solo travellers who want some travel companions or those who want to revisit their previous Rajasthan travels.
Group size: 12 travellers maximum
Age group: 18+
Comfort level: Mid-range. You will stay in clean, neat 3* boutique hotels and travel in private transport.
Physical Activity level: Light. You will need to be capable of the following:
- walking up/down stairs and slight inclines while sightseeing
- walk for several kilometres as part of general sightseeing and walking tours
- spend some days with long periods of road travel in a vehicle.
Tour start and end location: The tour commences and ends in New Delhi. We will advise you of the tour commencement location after your booking is confirmed.

Tour Hosts
Your tour host on this tour: On this tour you will be escorted by our local driver. Each workshop will be guided by an English speaking experienced artisan. We also engage local guides at various monuments and heritage sites.

Monuments and Heritage Sites
You will visit some key monuments and heritage sites in each tour stop included. Time is always planned for you to wander shopping markets, enjoy some street foods and experience Indian life. Check out the tour itinerary to see where we will take you.

Accommodation
After a long day of sightseeing you will sleep in a comfortable 3* boutique hotel. Most rooms are appointed with a comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom.
If the tour includes a overnight stay in the desert, accommodation may be basic but comfortable with access to a shared bathroom.
Single supplement: Our tours are priced per person based on a twin/double room occupancy. A single supplement fee is payable for those who want a single occupancy room. Please select this while booking.
Room match option: We can try to match solo travellers to share a room during the tour. This is based on availability. Refer to our terms and conditions for more information. You must contact us directly to discuss this option.
